陜川玉渓書院儒院は、栗谷李氏の著書『格文教経』と『海東淵源録』を保管するために建てられました。玉渓書院は英祖3年(1725年)に郷谷洞から約4キロ離れた場所に創建されたが、興宣大院君の書院廃止政策により閉鎖された。高宗6年に村の東側から約200メートル離れた場所に再建されました。学院は講堂、小元寺、内三門、外山門、回里寺などで構成されています。
