한국 4대 갈대밭 중 하나인 신성리 갈대밭(약 6만평)은 한국의 대히트 영화 '공동경비구역(JSA)'의 촬영지로도 유명세를 탔다.
자연환경을 보호하기 위해 갈대밭 전체 면적의 2~3%만 공원으로 조성됐다. 매년 겨울(특히 12월과 1월)에 약 40종의 철새 10만 마리가 이곳을 지나갑니다. 가을에는 반짝이는 금강변을 따라 황금빛 갈대밭이 낭만적인 분위기를 자아낸다. 주변 관광지로는 강변리조트, 월명공원(군산), 춘장대(서천군), 한산모시박물관 등이 있다. * 황금빛 들판 감상 시기 : 7월 ~ 2월 |
