韓国四大葦原の一つである新城里葦原（約6万坪）は、韓国の大ヒット映画「JSA」のロケ地としても有名です。
自然環境を保護するため、公園として整備されているヨシ原面積は全体の2～3％に過ぎません。毎年冬（特に12月と1月）に約10万羽（40種）の渡り鳥が通過します。秋には、きらめく金剛江の岸辺に黄金色の葦原がロマンチックな雰囲気を醸し出します。 近くの観光スポットには、川岸のリゾート、月明公園 (群山市)、春将台海水浴場 (舒川郡)、漢山苧麻織物博物館などがあります。 ※黄金色の畑が見られる期間：7月～2月 |
