장경사는 남한산성에 위치하고 있습니다. 북한산성과 함께 서울을 수호하는 남한산성은 인조 16년(1638년) 장경사와 동시에 축성됐다. 전국 8개 성의 무사 승려들이 건축을 도왔습니다. 장경사는 승려들로 구성된 군대가 머물며 훈련을 하던 9개의 사찰 중 유일하게 남아 있는 사찰이다.
