銀杏植物園由城南市經營。花園原本是一個廢棄的排水區，後來改造成一個有植物園的生態公園。花園綠意盎然，植物、野花、昆蟲種類繁多，是學生觀賞和了解大自然的理想場所。花園也是當地居民美麗的休閒場所。
