光教山位於水原市北部，保護城市免受北方寒風的侵襲。這座山以前被稱為光嶽山，但在高麗時期被太祖更名。這座山位於上光橋洞，位於京釜高速公路和連接首爾和水原的道路之間。山脊平緩，非常適合休閒散步。作為水原八景之一，雪樹景觀是必看的。從 2003 年開始，這座山每三年對公眾關閉一次，讓大自然平靜地治癒。
