光教山位于水原市北部，保护城市免受北方寒风的侵袭。这座山以前被称为光岳山，但在高丽时期被太祖更名。这座山位于上光桥洞，位于京釜高速公路和连接首尔和水原的道路之间。山脊平缓，非常适合休闲散步。作为水原八景之一，雪树景观是必看的。从 2003 年开始，这座山每三年对公众关闭一次，让大自然平静地治愈。
