大兴寺相传是百济成王时期新罗僧人阿多化相所建，是守护一生三灾的佛教文化三灾不立之处的复原。表忠寺和一枝岩茶园展示着秋史金正熙、秋云禅寺等当时名人的著作和遗迹。寺内有大雄宝殿、清溪楼、明佛殿、应津堂、天佛殿、天佛像、表忠寺、大光明殿、一池庵、凤弥勒庵、圣宝博物馆等。海南大兴寺北弥勒金庵的石刻佛坐像（国宝第308号）、塔山寺铭文铜钟（宝物第88号）以及武道殿、以及韩国最大的佛塔庭院。
