石窟庵是新罗景德王（742-765）统治时期金大成建造的。距佛国寺约3公里，乘车约9公里，石窟的设计与面朝东海的坐佛非常和谐。它是一项宝贵的文化遗产，于1995年12月6日被联合国教科文组织登记为世界遗产。
