淳兴乡校最初建于庆尚北道荣州市淳兴府行政区以北的金城，1718年迁至该区东部的维雅洞，1750年再次迁至现址。这座古老的儒学学校坐北朝南，坐落在山脚下，前景是河流。从金星坛穿过竹溪斋月桥，走左边的路，在清达里村公所左转，再往前走一点就可以到达。目前云兴乡校内收藏有与儒家学校相关的珍贵资料。
