청계사는 백운호수 인근 사찰로, 불상에 드물게 피어나는 우담바라 꽃의 명소로 알려지게 됐다. 신라시대에 창건된 사찰로 청계사비, 극락전, 종탑, 삼성각, 지장보살, 감노지 등 볼거리가 많다. 볼거리가 많은 가운데 청계사 동종과 청계사 목판도 빼놓을 수 없다. 조선 숙종 27년(1701)에 제작된 청동종은 국보로 지정되어 있으며 정교한 문양으로 장식되어 있다.
