据史料记载，自朝鲜王朝初期起，这里就开始发展陶瓷业，因为陶土、白土、高岭土等全国最好的陶瓷制作材料就出产于文莱面舍里山附近。这里的中层艺术家研究传统陶瓷的制作过程，以及利用非常规方法创作的新颖作品。骊州陶瓷艺术中心不仅提供高品质的陶瓷，还为游客提供了亲眼目睹艺术作品制作过程的机会。拥有60多个个人展厅，陶瓷风格各异。每年五月，这里都会举办节日供游人享受。
