忠州水坝是韩国最大的多功能混凝土水坝，在水资源规划和管理、防洪破坏和电力生产方面发挥着重要作用。坝区设有水展馆、纪念塔、休息区、游船码头等设施。从结构上看，大坝高97.5米，长447米。主坝下方有一座高21米、长480.7米的平衡水库大坝。
