王宫里考古遗址于1998年9月17日被指定为史迹第408号，面积为216,862平方米。该遗址拥有从百济王朝到统一新罗时期的各种建筑物和文物。在国宝第289号王军日五层石塔周围的长方形城址内发现了文物。
