1998年9月17日に史跡第408号に指定された王宮里遺跡の面積は216,862平方メートルである。この遺跡には、百済時代から統一新羅時代までのさまざまな建造物や遺物が保存されています。出土品は国宝第289号、王宮日五重石塔を取り囲む長方形の城塞跡内で発見された。
