Baraebong 峰因酷似倒置的 barittae（寺廟僧侶使用的木飯碗）而得名。這座山的特徵是圓形的山坡和春天的杜鵑花田。健行從距離雲峰邑 1.5 公里的龍山村開始。這條小路沿著一條平緩的小路穿過牧場後方的森林保護區，一直到山頂。到達山頂前的最後一段路，從四月下旬到五月期間，都被盛開的杜鵑花覆蓋。從山頂可以看到智異山的全貌。
