이 축제는 순천만 국가정원과 순천만 습지, 그리고 시내 곳곳에서 7개월간 진행된다. 국립정원은 리뉴얼을 거쳐 숙박시설과 반려견 출입이 가능한 잔디광장, 강에서 뱃놀이 체험, 각종 꽃 전시 등을 갖추고 있으며, 밤에는 조명이 켜져 환상적인 야경을 선사한다.
