천연기념물 제537호인 비둘기낭폭포는 작은 계곡 안에 위치해 있다. 폭포는 거대한 주상절리로 둘러싸여 있습니다. 그 풍경이 참 신비롭고 고요해 보여 사극의 포플러 촬영지로도 유명하다. 폭포는 폭포 주변의 동굴에 둥지를 틀고 있는 많은 야생 비둘기들의 이야기에서 그 이름(한국어로 "비둘기 폭포")을 얻습니다. 다른 사람들은 그 이름이 지역의 모양에서 유래했다고 말합니다. 폭우가 내릴 때에는 폭포로 가는 길이 폐쇄되므로 방문 전 날씨를 확인하는 것이 좋습니다.
