申在孝（1812-1884）是一位傳奇理論家、導演和板索里（史詩聖歌）的發起人。高敞的申在孝故居建於 1850 年，遊客可以參觀舍廊（正房）、一口古井和保存至今的泡桐樹。辛本人不是歌手，而是板索里愛好者，他用財富培養有潛力的歌手，為板索里的發展做出貢獻。他也編撰了《託基打戲》、《白打戲》、《深清歌》、《赤碧歌》、《春香歌》、《輕柔打戲》六部板索里戲，但流傳下來的只有五部。為了紀念他對板索里的貢獻和熱情，東尼國樂堂在這棟房子後面成立。
