주남저수지는 3개 저수지(산남, 주남, 동판)에 대규모 철새 보호구역이 펼쳐져 있으며, 국내 최고의 방문객을 위한 자연 관찰 지역 중 하나입니다. 람사르문화관, 생태교육관, 조류관찰장, 주남환경학교 등을 무료로 운영하고 있으며 생태설명과 함께 저수지를 둘러보는 가이드 투어도 가능하다. 또한 저수지 내에는 연꽃밭과 꽃길도 관람할 수 있다.
