維峰山城郡立公園位於全州北部，穿過櫻花樹隧道，經過鬆光寺。園區內有威峰瀑布、威峰寺、東上水庫等著名的觀光景點。溫峰山城郡公園是在溫峰山城遺址上建立的，溫峰山城建於1675年肅宗統治時期，是在戰爭或其他國家緊急情況下保存朝鮮王朝創始人太祖的肖像和王室祖先牌位的避難所。它們最初被供奉在慶基殿和曹慶廟，當全州在東學農民革命期間淪陷時，肖像和牌位被轉移到要塞內的一座小宮殿中。原城牆週長16公里，有北、東、西三門，現僅存半月形西門。
