Daejin 1-ri, home to Daejin Beach, which boasts the best water quality in the country, is a fishing village with infrastructure such as marine leisure sports, which was established through the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' 'Fishing Village Experience and Tourism Village' development project in 2001. There is a 200m wide Songcheon Stream that flows across the white sand beach, so you can enjoy fresh water bathing, and the natural scenery and the sea pine forest formed by a pine colony is truly spectacular. In particular, freshwater fishing is possible on the banks of Songcheon Stream and Guro (10 km), focusing on reeds for cattails, silver grass, moon root grass, crucian carp, and loaches.
