This zelkova tree is 150 years old and serves as proof that the village existed even before it was transformed into a large-scale housing complex. It was planted 150 years ago by the residents of the meaningful village of Namal (the old name of Mok 4-dong) and is still growing today. Although it was bombed during the Korean Uprising and died, it has overcome various disasters and is growing well, with new shoots sprouting. It is 10 meters high and has a circumference. It is said that if you pray for good health at 278cm, it will come true. If you damage it carelessly, you will be cursed and a great disaster will follow, so it has been well protected for a long time and is revered as the guardian deity of the village that is still alive to this day.
