Yeoju Cham Charcoal Village is a complex leisure facility that offers steaming in a traditional charcoal kiln located at the foot of Seongjubong Peak, where the Namhangang River and Seomgang River meet, and swimming in a swimming pool using natural hot spring water gushing out at 1050m. It is also a complex leisure facility with accommodations such as camping sites, caravans, and pensions. There are a total of 10 charcoal kilns here. They are made from red clay, the raw material of Yeoju ceramics, and are rich in far-infrared rays. The negative ions from charcoal penetrate deep into the skin and are known to be effective against various adult diseases as well as skin diseases including atopy. After burning high-quality domestic oak for 4 nights and 5 days, the heat remaining in the kiln is used to make a fomentation. When the charcoal is fired, the kiln temperature exceeds 1300℃. A charcoal kiln is full of heat for 3-4 days even after the cooked charcoal is removed.

The next day after all the charcoal is removed, the temperature is 250-300℃, the second day is 120-150℃, the third day is 80-100℃, four days. The heat is maintained up to about 30℃. Thanks to this, the inside of the charcoal kiln is so hot that even in the middle of winter, you can wrap yourself in a large towel and take a steam bath. In addition to charcoal kiln steaming, there is a natural hot spring pool rich in sodium bicarbonate and minerals, so you can enjoy swimming all year round. In addition, Yeoju Cham Charcoal Village is Korea's first charcoal kiln for charcoal tourism and is equipped with modern convenience facilities such as shower rooms and red clay room rest areas. Among about 100 charcoal kilns nationwide, it is registered as the first traditional charcoal kiln recommended by the Korea Tourism Organization.

The camping site has a total of about 120 buildings and is divided into 6 zones. You can enjoy a leisurely rest with 15 camping caravans and 16 pensions. In addition, there are various experience facilities so the whole family can have a fun day, and there is an animal feeding experience and a laser survival game center. The campsite hosts various events every weekend, so you'll never be bored. When you feel hungry after a charcoal kiln steaming, the ‘3-Second Pork Belly’, which is grilled pork belly on a red grill, is so juicy that it can truly be considered the delicacy of delicacies. The main building, which also serves as a lounge, sells white charcoal, interior charcoal, charcoal for charcoal grilling, wood vinegar, and Yeoju sweet potatoes at low prices. There are many famous tourist attractions near Yeoju Cham Charcoal Village, such as Silleuksa Temple, Geoeun Ceramic Culture Experience School, Royal Tomb of King Sejong, Empress Myeongseong's Birthplace, Mok-a Museum, and Phone Museum. Yeoju Premium Outlet is also nearby, so there is no shortage of day trips that include a charcoal kiln steaming session.
