ソウル演劇祭は40年以上にわたりソウルを代表する演劇芸術祭です。このフェスティバルの歴史は、韓国独自の演劇作品の発展を目的として、1977年に「大韓民国演劇フェスティバル」という名称で始まりました。 2017年からはオリジナル公演の上演に加え、優れた公演の初演・再演を通訳・開催するまでに進化しました。
