東寺文学祭は、パク・キョンニ著の韓国最高の歴史小説の一つ『東寺』の舞台となった河東郡で毎年開催されます。このフェスティバルは、1897 年の東学革命から 1945 年の朝鮮解放までの韓国の現代史を描いた小説『東寺』に敬意を表したもので、国内の主要な文学祭の 1 つとなっています。
