웅진성 수문장 교대식은 유네스코 세계문화유산으로 지정된 백제역사유적지구의 일부인 공산성에서 거행된다. 의례는 엄격한 사료 분석을 바탕으로 의상과 소품을 사용하여 성을 지키는 수비대의 복무를 재현합니다. 행사는 무더운 여름철인 6~8월을 제외하고 4~11월 매주 토요일과 일요일에 거행되며, 가을 백제문화제 기간에는 매일 거행된다. 이번 행사는 무예공연과 다양한 체험, 본행사 등으로 구성돼 백제문화가 꽃핀 공주시와 귀중한 유산인 공산성을 알리는 데 목적을 두고 있다.
