ウンジン城の衛兵交代式は、ユネスコの世界遺産に指定されている百済歴史地区の一部である公山城で行われます。この儀式では、歴史的記録の厳密な分析に基づいて、衣装や小道具を使用して城を守る衛兵の奉仕を再現します。この儀式は、夏の暑い時期である6月から8月を除いて、4月から11月までの毎週土曜日と日曜日に行われ、秋の百済文化祭期間中は毎日行われます。このイベントは、百済文化が栄えた公州市とその貴重な遺産である公山城のPRを目的として、本式典のほか武術演武や各種体験などが行われる。
