最初被称为谷岛，因外观有白色翅膀而更名为现在的白翎岛。它是韩国第八大岛，也是距离朝鲜最近的岛屿。由于其地理位置优越，游客在游览该岛之前必须接受安全检查。
白翎岛以众多景点和新鲜海鲜而闻名，该地区生活着多种鱼类。杜木津雄伟的海崖据说是一位旧神的最后的杰作。岛上的其他景点包括两层楼高的深清阁；水崖岩是韩国唯一可以看到海豹的地方；萨戈特海岸是世界上仅有的两个拥有硅藻土的地方之一，其强度足以让军用飞机在上面行驶并用作跑道。 |
