화담식물원은 서울에서 차로 40분 거리인 경기도 광주 곤지암리조트 내에 위치한 친환경 수목원이다. LG상록재단은 국내 산림생태계 되살리기를 위해 국내 자생식물 약 4,300여 종을 들여와 17개 테마로 구성된 산림공원을 조성했습니다. '화담'은 '친근한 소통'이라는 뜻으로, 사람과 자연이 소통하는 공간이 되기를 바라는 마음에서 붙여진 이름이다. 숲은 환경 친화적인 분위기를 제공하도록 설계되었으며, 숲의 생태계와 서식지는 잘 보존되어 많은 생물의 보금자리 역할을 하고 있습니다.
