花潭植物園は、ソウルから車で 40 分の京畿道光州市の昆池岩リゾート内にある環境に優しい樹木園です。 LGエバーグリーン財団は、韓国の森林生態系を復活させるために、約4,300種類の国産の優れた植物を持ち込み、17のテーマに分けられた森林公園を造成した。 「ファダム」とは「友好的なコミュニケーション」という意味で、この森が人々と自然とのコミュニケーションの手段となることを願って付けられた名前です。森林は環境に優しい雰囲気を提供するように設計されていますが、森林の生態系と生息地はよく保存されており、多くの生物種の生息地として機能しています。
