五精寺は、48 の雄大な山々に囲まれた延華山脈の中心、京畿道龍仁市海谷洞に位置しています。五精寺は涅槃教団の総本山であり、約 3,000 体の仏像が安置されています。最も人気のある像は、寺院の入り口にある高さ 8 メートルの仏頭像ブルドゥです。もう一つの有名な像は、 インドネシアから輸入されたジュニパーの木から彫られた仏像ワブルです。ワブルは高さ 3 メートル、長さ 12 メートルに達し、この種のものとしては世界最大のものの 1 つです。この寺院には、僧侶や諸外国の指導者から贈られた、あらゆる材質で作られた世界中の仏像が安置されています。
