보광사는 파주 고령산 기슭에 위치한 전통 사찰이다. 894년 신라시대 진성여왕의 명을 받아 도성국대사가 창건한 사찰로, 당시 숨은 국보이자 한강 북쪽에 있는 6대 사찰 중 하나였다. 인성은 임진왜란 때 폐허가 되었다가 1622년 설미스님과 덕인스님에 의해 중건되었습니다. 1667년에 지간스님과 석련스님이 대웅보전과 관음전을 중건하였다.
