清涼山海拔870米，遠離文明。山上的景點有金塔峰等 12 座山峰、八個洞窟、廣昌瀑布和新羅文武王三年（西元前 57 年 - 西元 935 年）僧人元曉所建的清涼寺。
清涼山道立公園入口巨石後面有一座紀念碑，上面刻有朝鮮時代著名學者退溪李灃題寫的詩，叫做「清涼山歌」。除了退溪李黃、元曉、義尚之外，書法大師金生、學者崔致遠等人也曾來此山修行。他們的存在仍然存在於傳說中，至今仍被人們重述。 |
