清凉山海拔870米，远离文明。山上的景点有金塔峰等 12 座山峰、八个洞窟、广昌瀑布和新罗文武王三年（公元前 57 年 - 公元 935 年）僧人元晓所建的清凉寺。
清凉山道立公园入口巨石后面有一座纪念碑，上面刻有朝鲜时代著名学者退溪李沣题写的诗，叫做“清凉山歌”。除了退溪李黄、元晓、义尚之外，书法大师金生、学者崔致远等人也曾来此山修行。他们的存在仍然存在于传说中，至今仍被人们重述。 |
