公州市石庄里考古遗址位于距公州市约 6 公里的锦江北岸。该遗址是韩国代表性的旧石器时代遗址之一，被指定为史迹第334号。延世大学博物馆的团队在1964年至1974年间对该遗址进行了10次发掘。对 27 层地层的挖掘出土的文物证明了该地区曾生活过 11 个文化时代。 1990年和1993年，该地区再次被发掘，出土了更多的文物，帮助人们更清晰地了解那个时代的人们的形象。
