三宁山城建于新罗时期。庞大的石墙长 1.7 公里，x_高度和 x_宽度分别为 13-20 和 8-10 米。堡垒的名字来源于完成建造的时间，三年（韩语“sam nyeon”）。该城是三国时期新罗和百济之间多次战斗的地点。
