Description of art	〈2012 Winter Mountain Series: Heavy Snow〉(2012) is one of the works that Jeong Insook photographed while traveling to winter mountains from 2010 to 2012. She took photos of the four seasons of mountains because they were her refuge and resting place when she was physically and mentally exhausted. In particular, winter mountain is the constant theme of Jeong who was attracted to its ever-changing appearance. The winter mountain in the work contains the traces of the time when the snow accumulates on the branches and soil, freezes, melts throughout the winter, and accumulates again. Even though the work is produced digitally, it shows the characteristics of Jeong Insook’s delicate use of photographic media, which emphasizes her refined photographic techniques.
