Description of art	“Crack 79?301” (1979) is a work whose matiere is expressed by random cracks on the surface created by chemical reactions between thickness and paints. Although the work depends on unpredictability, cracks are arranged in orderly manner, depicting the tension between randomness and intension. Youn depended on unpredictability to minimize the act of “painting,” and by doing so, he sought a world of non-materials in which the detailed forms disappear.
