薄吉島距離莞島港約12公里，曾居住著一位名叫尹善道的朝鮮著名詩人，他在前往濟州島途中遭遇颱風避難時偶然發現了該島。在島上逗留的10年裡，建造了世演亭、樂善齋等25棟建築。他最著名的作品《Eobusasisa》也是在這裡寫的。
島上擁有三個美麗的海灘，是受歡迎的度假勝地。最南端的禮松里海灘因其令人驚嘆的景色而特別受歡迎，這裡有綿延 1.4 公里的卵石海岸，附近還有常綠森林。 |
