長東藝術村的開發是為了重振衰落的市中心商業區。空蕩蕩的小鎮搖身一變成為緊鄰城市的都市時尚藝術村。藝術村的主要理念是融合城市的藝術優勢，進行都市更新。這座曾是1950年代和1960年代文化藝術中心的城市，經歷了所謂「藝術城市復興」的過程。
村裡有各種景點，包括文心藝術胡同、馬山山路藝術胡同和蒼東胡同等3條主要胡同，以及50個藝術設施和12個提供實踐項目的工作坊地點。 |
