銀荷寺位於慶尚南道金海市新餘山。其創建年份已不詳，但相傳是僧侶長裕和尚於公元 1 年佛教在全國傳播之前建造的。然而，在寺址中發現的文物表明，該寺有可能建於三國時代。臨津戰爭期間，該寺與東林寺一起被燒毀，現在看到的建築風格是朝鮮後期的建築風格。
