王宮裡考古遺址於1998年9月17日被指定為史蹟第408號，面積為216,862平方公尺。該遺址擁有從百濟王朝到統一新羅時期的各種建築物和文物。在國寶第289號王軍日五層石塔周圍的長方形城址內發現了文物。
