瑟島位於朝鮮半島東南部蔚山市海岸附近。
它的名字叫Seuldo（“seul”，意思是韓國弦樂器gemungo），據說是因為風和海浪撞擊岩石島的聲音模仿了gemungo的聲音。事實上，海浪撞擊島嶼的聲音非常好聽，被稱為“seuldomyingpa”或“海浪迴響”。 該島也被稱為Siruseom（“siru”，意思是土蒸船），因為它類似於顛倒的Siru，而Gomboseom（“gombo”，意思是麻子），因為它的石頭上有洞。 島上有一座無人值守的燈塔，其歷史可追溯至 20 世紀 50 年代末期。島上主要的經濟活動是漁業。 |
