镜浦海水浴场以南是草堂豆腐村，以豆腐而闻名。 Chodang dubu是用磨碎的豆子和东海的盐水制成的，豆腐柔软而轻盈。草堂村的名字来源于曾经居住在这里的一个名门望族草堂许业的名字。许烨是作家/诗人许筠（1569~1618）的儿子和诗人许南雪轩（1563~1589）的父亲。在许筠和许南雪轩的原址上重建了韩国传统风格的房屋。
