阳川乡校是首尔仅存的朝鲜王朝的教育机构，被指定为首尔第8号纪念碑。建于朝鲜太宗12年（1411年），旧校舍于1981年全面修复。院内共有大成殿、明伦堂、传禅堂等八栋建筑。每年两次的孔子国家祭祀仪式在这里举行：一次在春季，一次在秋季。此外，还向普通公民以及小学生、初中生和高中生提供各种教授汉字、书法或东方绘画的项目。
