昭阳湖与忠州湖齐名，是韩国最大的人工湖之一，建于 1973 年，当时世界第四大水坝昭阳水坝高 123 米。连接春川和麟蹄的60公里水道是一条可以欣赏内雪岳美丽山峦和溪流的路线。上游的麟蹄段有鲤鱼、鲫鱼、皮鱼、鳜鱼、胡公鱼等多种鱼类，吸引了众多游客和渔民。军竹桥、富平、官大里、上水里渔港等地区都设有钓鱼点。另外，从12月到3月，军竹桥附近的湖面部分结冰时，可以在冰盖上打洞，享受冰钓西太公鱼的乐趣。
