白潭溪谷从白潭寺到麟蹄郡龙岱里，绵延八公里。山谷里有一条道路，但禁止一般车辆通行。该山谷位于雪岳山国立公园内。流经山谷的溪水又宽又深。山谷的名字来自于沿山谷有一百个（韩国的“baek”）水池（“水坝”）的说法。白潭溪谷拥有清澈的水和茂密的森林。
