长水台于1959年10月1日竣工，是为了纪念朝鲜战争期间雪岳山战役的伟大胜利。这里是徒步上公园参观大升瀑布、玉女汤、伽玛汤、寒溪山城、汉风壁等景点的游客的休息场所。该亭采用韩国传统风格建造，无论是结构还是规模都被视为优秀的隐居之所。周围的山崖和松树林使这座建筑更加引人注目。
