榧子林被指定为第 374 号天然纪念物，约有 2,800 棵树龄 500 至 800 年的肉豆蔻红豆杉树群。树木的x_高度为7-14米，直径为50-110厘米，树冠宽度为10-15米。过去，这些树被采伐来获取松子，也用于建造优质家具和围棋棋盘。
除了大片肉豆蔻红豆杉之外，这片森林也是许多稀有兰花品种的家园。这些树木会释放出大量的植物杀菌素，据说可以增强免疫系统并提高人体的自然治愈能力。附近的景点包括 Abuoreum 和 Yongnunioruem 等火山锥，非常适合更有活力的散步，并从高处欣赏 Bijarim 森林的景色。 |
